This dog is a Senior Sweetheart and qualifies for a reduced adoption fee! Click to learn more.

Colonel is a 12 year old gentleman that has had a pretty rough life so far. After 12 years of faithfulness to his family Colonel was dumped at the shelter because the kids were "allergic." They were keeping him outside. In spite of what he has gone through before he came to us, his attitude is great. He loves people and touches your heart the first time you see him. He has a spring in his step and charms all who meet him.

Colonel will soon be neutered and have his dental done. He has some health problems that have been identified and are being successfully treated. He weighs about 13 lbs, is heartworm negative and has had all of his vaccinations.

If you would like to give a sweet old man a home, he is the one for you.

UPDATE

Colonel is a sweet dog with lots of energy for his age. He is good with kids and doesn't mind other dogs but he doesn’t play with either.
