Meet Dagwood! He is a standard black and tan long hair. He is almost completely black with the exception a few places of tan on his feet and face. He is a real sweetheart and loves following the humans around in his foster home. He gets along great with the other dogs in the house and is housebroken! Dagwood is very obese but we are working on getting him lots of exercise and getting the correct amount of food. He likes to go on walks and gets very excited when we get the leash out, so he should be a beautiful slender dog in no time! Please consider giving Dag a permanent forever home!

UPDATE

Dagwood is doing great on his diet! He has lost 4 pounds already and is blossoming into a wonderful, healthy and active dog. He loves to snuggle with his foster family but also loves the outdoors and does a little excited dance when he sees the leash! Dag is a sweet boy who is housetrained and gets along great with his foster brothers and sister. Please consider giving this cute boy a forever home!

UPDATE

Is that a leash I see in your hand? I believe it is! That means we're going on a walk! That is just my most favorite thing to do. Well, maybe that is a tie with having my gorgeous coat groomed. I can't decide, they are both so great. Going for a walk gets me outside and in the sunshine, but getting brushed makes me roll over for a belly rub. Hey, maybe we could go for a walk, then brush my coat? That would be the best!

I am a healthy, happy standard sized dachshund. I'm completely ready to find my forever home, with a leash and a brush, of course! After we spend some time getting beautiful, we could just cuddle together and rest. I've completed my diet and reached my goal weight, so I'm ready to move on to your house next!
