Bessie is just the sweetest girl. She appears to be potty trained and is OK in a crate. She is very easy to handle and will happily roll over for a belly rub. Bessie came to use with a really long scar that looked like it could be a spay scar, and a large lump. We were very worried it could be a tumor, but it turns out it was a hernia from a past C-section. Poor girl, no telling how long she had lived with it. We got that all fixed (along with the spay) and cleaned her teeth to a pearly white. Unfortunately, she does have heartworm disease, so we will be treating that next. Even with all of this, she is just the sweetest girl. We know you will love her too! She will be ready for her new home by early September.

My foster mom says I'm the "sweetest thing in the world!" My goal in life is to ensure that you never feel unloved or alone. I promise not to be overly pushy or needy, but I always want to be sure I'm readily available in case you need some love!

My manners are impeccable! I do my business outside, get along very well with other dogs, and will readily listen to commands. I love my people so much that I will even take a walk beside you without a leash.

I enjoy sunny days, chew toys and lots of cuddles! Even though I would prefer to sleep in the big bed, I will also rest quietly in my crate... okay, not so quietly as I do snore a bit. But, my foster mom says I have a funny snore and it makes her laugh.

I am the complete package of love, obedience and loyalty. If you can live with an occasional snore at night, then I'm the perfect girl for you!
