Lucky:  Adopted

A long time ago, in a place not far away, I found myself at the shelter. I thought I was "lucky" then, and found a home with CTDR’s help. I thought my days of struggle were over when I was adopted by a family and got a sister named Candy. Unfortunately, this fairy tale only lasted a short time before our humans found themselves unable to keep me, for no fault of my own, so now I’m back to try again! I long to be held and will just melt whenever I get a chance to be loved. I would like to stay with my pal Candy if possible, but would just be happy to have a forever home to call my own.

UPDATE

We've decided that Lucky is this little dog's last name. His first name is Happy, and his middle name is Go! Get it - Happy-Go-Lucky - that is what he is, for sure! Despite all he's been through, he is overflowing with joy and sweetness. He is always trotting around happily, except when he's nuzzled up right next to you on the couch. He is an adorable little guy and a true mini. He looks and acts much younger than he probably is. He loves his sister Candy and loves other dogs too.

Lucky and Candy make a great team and would really like to stay together. I promise that you will not find a sweeter, snugglier, friendlier and more well-behaved pair than these two. They will settle right in to your home and heart. They're in the prime of their lives, with so much love left to give their true forever home.

They are crate trained, house trained and know how to use a doggie door. They're the perfect package - all that's missing is you!
