I am a gorgeous chocolate and tan with the most soulful eyes you have ever seen! I love to play and have a lot of energy to spread around. Now that I'm starting to settle down in my foster home, my real personality is beginning to shine!

I mind correction very well. Just a simple "No Sir" and I straighten right up. I walk pretty well on a leash and like to explore every chance I get. I'm still pretty young and learning all the things a dog should learn. I'll need someone willing to help me with this task. My foster mom says I really have great potential to be a wonderful companion and truly a best friend.

I'm learning how to get along with other dogs, but a home without cats would really be the best fit for me. They are really just a bit too much of a temptation to chase. I really love my human foster brother, even though he is a teenager. I follow him around the house everywhere he goes. I still have a lot of puppy left in me, so I am just ready to soak in all the training and love that I know must be out there somewhere! I'm motivated, are you?

I will be neutered in a couple of days. Otherwise, I am completely healthy and ready to go! I would make a great addition to a family with older children and possibly one other playmate for me to enjoy.

Did I mention I am gorgeous? I truly am. My pictures just don't do me justice. I would love to meet you one on one, so you can see how truly beautiful I am!

UPDATE

I am finding my groove and dancing to the beat. When you offer me a treat, I will stand up on my back legs and dance just for you! Being a young guy, I'm happy go lucky and carefree in my ways. I was pretty shy at first, but it turns out that I really love other dogs and quickly bond with people. This bond is so strong that I can become scared when one of them is not around. When left alone, I get very lonely. I am greatly comforted when I know a friend is nearby. Being in a kennel was hard at first. But, as long as I'm able to see my person or a playmate, I have learned to settle down just fine.

I've been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. With consistent reminders, my house manners are great! I have have learned how to use the doggie door and love to run and play outside. My foster mom has nicknamed me "Hershey Kisses," because I am just that sweet. I am so intent on pleasing her and have the perfect personality for training and companionship.

I am the complete package of devotion and love. Maybe you have a playmate at your house that needs a friend like me? I will keep them in perfect company when you are busy or away. When you're not, I will joyfully focus all my attention on you!

UPDATE

I could hear my foster mom calling me. She was looking all over the house. I'm usually right beside her with every step she takes. It had been a busy day, catching up on housework, errands and chores. I was doing my best to keep out of the way and wait patiently for my turn to cuddle with her. I'm a good boy in the house, so I don't need to be crated, or watched when she is busy. I figured this looked like a good place to rest!

My foster mom was doing her normal weekend laundry, including all the nice blankets she lets the dogs cuddle in. I just love the freshly washed blankets and couldn't wait any longer! So, I crawled in the open dryer to get the first snuggle! My foster mom was so surprised to see me in there that she didn't have the heart to make me get out. I got to snuggle in the warm blankets and take a nap. Now, this is the way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Do you like to do laundry on Sunday? If you don't like Sunday for laundry, any other day will suit me just fine! I'd love to help you by testing to be sure all the blankets are clean, dry and snuggly warm!

UPDATE

I am determined to prove what a smart and loving boy I am! I have learned to sit for my treats and do my business outside reliably. I have even learned that a kitty is fun to play with! When I first met the kitty, I really wanted to play. She didn't think that was a good idea and would hiss at me. I've worked on her a bit and now we are cuddle friends! I love to make friends, and really need a home that has a friend waiting just for me.

It snowed in Texas today and I thought that was just the neatest thing. I took my little soccer ball outside and played in the snow. I liked it so much that my foster mom had to bribe me with a treat to come inside!

I'm still waiting for my forever home to find me. I hope they find me soon! My perfect place is at your side (or on your lap!) Your best friend is waiting patiently for you! Won't you come find me soon?
