Update Jan 25

Brad's finally learning how to play with toys. When he came to us, he pretty much left them alone, and would only play with a toy when one of the other dogs already had it. Now, we see him tearing through the house with them, playing on his own... He also has a habit of taking and leaving them outside.

Since he's been in foster care, Bradley has been a very good little guy. He's very affectionate, and extremely friendly. He wasn't too sure about the crate, but over the past two days has been getting in the crate on his own with only a little encouragement. He's been around strangers in an outside the house setting (including strange kids), and was great with them - didn't say a peep - and mostly sat still other than saying a normal "hi" to them. He would seem to be a great guy for folks that like to take their dog around various places with them. He's picking up recall well, but still has some learning to do in this regard - he comes when he feels like it, mostly, but ignores us sometimes at this point. He *LOVES* food and gets very excited about being fed. He likes his foster family's other dogs and mostly gets along, but is having to learn about appropriate social behavior with them - mostly that he can't be possessive of the humans or it gets him into hot water. He really likes to play with his foster family's three-year-old long hair quite a bit, and is learning to play with the toys in the house. He knows the doggie door and does well with it.

Bradley will also have to go through Heartworm treatment and will not be ready for adoption until the end of July.
