Sam is a very sweet little boy who loves life, especially if there are toys to play with. Sam loves stuffed toys and doesn't tear them up. He has been known to throw them in the air while he is playing.
He started life with a bit of a challenge because he was born with a cleft palate. After surgery he was in good shape. He has short fur so he loves to burrow to keep warm. He is loving and loves to be held and cuddled. He is energetic, and gets along well with other dogs, big or small.
Sam just celebrated his 5th birthday on June 19, 2011. He weighs about 8lbs.
