Kenzie:  Adopted

If you could connect Kenzie to the power grid, you could forget solar, wind or nuclear. This little red shorthair is about 12 pounds but outputs many times that in energy. About a year old, she is very sweet and loving with people and fearless with other dogs. She has a bit of an alpha attitude and anyone introducing her to their pack should expect a few fireworks until things are sorted out. Once that happens, it is non-stop play and a show that will top anything seen on TV.

Not much is known about Kenzie's origins other than that she came from a shelter in Big Spring. She was evidently well-cared for judging by her open and accepting nature and shiny coat. She adapts quickly to new environments and to people. Big appetite, bigger heart.

For a small dog, Kenzie has a big bark and has the makings of a watch dog in her. She wouldn't scare anyone off who saw her but with a door between her and the intruder she talks a good game.

Her foster family is working on housetraining Kenzie and with her eagerness to please, she is catching on quickly.
