Sassy:  Adopted

Meet Sassy! For some unknown reason Sassy was picked up as a stray and found herself once again in the shelter.

Sassy needs a very patient and calm home environment to overcome some of her fears. Would probably recommend no small children and if there are other pets, they would need to be non-aggressive types. She is very afraid of everyone at first, but once you have her trust she will let you hold her and she will snuggle next to you. She doesn't like to be alone and will need to be near you when you are home. When away, she prefers to stay in her crate so she can relax.

She still likes puppy chow and sometimes needs encouraging to eat. Her house habits are pretty good so far, but she hasn't determined how to use the doggy door yet and she likes "company" while she finds a good spot to go. Continuing to work on her house habits and her leash training.

She can jump like a jack russell (if you are holding something in your hand, she can jump high enough to take it away from you), so she may be a good candidate for agility training, which would give her some confidence and "work" to release some of that energy.

She doesn't seem to like treats, but just loves cheese and peanut butter.
