Sophia is a wonderful senior with a heart full of puppy love. She was adopted from CTDR but returned to us when a lifestyle change made it impossible for her family to keep her. She is overweight, but she loves to walk and has actually tried to run a little to keep up with her foster family's puppy!

She loves all other dogs. She also loves belly rubs and sitting on your lap.

Sophia also LOVES to talk. If you talk to her, she will talk back and she gets so excited. It's very funny!

Sophia is a lovely, gentle gal. She is looking for a lap and a warm bed. Her needs are simple and her heart is big. She is a healthy, happy love bug. She is heartworm positive and will go through treatment. She is up-to-date on vaccines and after a little bit of dental work and her heartworm treatment, she will be ready for her forever home in May.

Sophia has completed her heartworm treatment and is ready to rumble! Sophia is a total LOVEBUG DIVA! If you aren't loving her, well then something isn't set right in the universe! She loves being petted and will trick you into it against your will by running up to you and showing you her irresistible belly. She also loves brisk walks. She's no lazy bones and wants to see as much of your world as possible. When she can't go for a walk, she is very content exploring the backyard, chasing squirrels and is so speedy, she's even caught one bird. This aging gal is no couch potato. She has a zest for life that will fill your lives with pleasure, together! While Sophia is very tolerant of other dogs, she would thrive on having only people, lots of people, adoring her as many minutes of the day as possible.
