Update: Rainie is super sweet and will snuggle occasionally. She loves playing fetch and playing with her foster sister and Oscar. She will start the barking at loud noises and can be reactive on walks. She is mostly housetrained but for indoor pottying is unfamiliar with potty pads and has had a few accidents overnight. Rainie is a doll, she has learned to use pee pads for pottying while we are away, and has had very few accidents in the house. She really loves to follow you and other than meeting new people/standard dachshund barking, she is very quiet
Rainie and her best friend Oscar are new arrivals to CTDR after being surrendered after their owner passed away. Both are fully vetted and just want to find that special home where they can live out the rest of their golden years. Rainie is scared of new people and will take time to warm up and is also leash reactive, so you would need to be patient with her. She loves toys and loves fetch as her favorite game.
