Heartworm Prevention is given on the 5th of each month

UPDATE: 

George has caught up on his weight since we have started fostering him and his coat is super shiny, He loves belly and ear rubs. He does really well with our other doxies but seems apprehensive around our lab at times so I think he's better with small dogs. He loves being outside and rolling around in the grass.

We have discovered that George loves to go for walks. We go late in the evening and he is even great around the neighborhood ducks! He has adjusted nicely to our other dachshunds, and is frequently snuggling with them. He is doing well with our children. George is very affectionate and quiet for a dachshund. He truly is a wonderful boy.

George is doing really well with his foster brothers. He's getting adjusted to being crated and willing goes into his crate but generally prefers to out. He loves to snuggle and cuddle on the couch and loves to be held, he loves car rides and looking through the window. We have not figured out yet what types of toys he likes so we are working on that. He is good with kids and dogs both small and large.

 

George is a great family dog. He is amazing with small and large dogs and doesn't seem to mind our cat very much. He is a small mini with a red and black smooth coat. He is also very good with kids. He is not very vocal. He does not like his crate much and seems to have some separation anxiety when we leave the house and crate him. We are working on potty training.  He was underweight when we picked him up so we are working on that.
