Ms. Peanut was taken to the local shelter by her owners and they told they shelter, just put her to sleep. Peanut started having accidents in the house and instead of taking her to the vet to see what was causing the problem, their answer was to get rid of her.  The Shelter contacted CTDR and we immediately spring into action to get this girl and see what was going on with her.  She is good with people and other dogs and is just ready to find that forever loving home where she can spend the rest of her days.  Peanut was obviously fed a lot of treats and will need to go on Weight Watchers to lose some of her excess weight.  If you would like to give Peanut her forever home, please complete an application at ctdr.org.
