On Friday February 21, 2020 CTDR was received an emergency request to take in a young dachshund who had been found in a yard, crying in pain. The finder said it appeared that the dog had been attacked by a bigger dog and they put the dog in a box and went to the shelter. After being seen by the shelter vet, it was recommended that Rescue be contacted or the dog would have to be put to sleep. CTDR immediately jumped into action and arranged for a transport to the clinic that CTDR uses. After being examined by a CTDR vet, it was determined that he had some severe injuries and that his left leg would have to be amputated. He will have this amputation on Monday February 24th, 2020. The cost of this along with his neuter and the care he has received so far will run about $2600.00. Any donation, no matter the amount will be so greatly appreciated. CTDR has named this little guy Hercules as he is a determined little guy and has the will to live. Please help CTDR help Hercules.
