Heartworm Prevention is given on the 10th of each month

UPDATE: Milky Way is a spunky girl with lots of energy. She was rescued shortly after weaning a litter of puppies, and she had some health problems related to her kidneys. Her prognosis is still a little unclear but she is doing great and getting more and more playful. She eats a special kidney care diet. She loves to play with toys, take walks, ride in the car, and burrow into sheets if placed on a bed. She is better with people she knows than with new people. 

Meet Milky Way.  She is one of our newest arrivals.  She came into Rescue along with her 6 puppies.  She is fully vetted now and is ready for her forever home. The sweet little lady will melt your heart with her big brown eyes. She loves nothing better than to cuddle up on the couch near her people, and cannot wait to find her forever home.  Milky Way is a playful girl and loves to go on walks.  She does like to burrow into her blankets and can be a big barker.  If interested in giving Milky Way a new home, please complete an application at ctdr.org.
