UPDATE: After initially having a scuffle each day for the first five days in my foster home I'm now used to my two foster brothers! I've been scuffle free for 5 days and love chasing squirrels with my five year old foster brother. I'm not sure how to play with him or toys for that matter but he seems okay anyway. - Pancho
UPDATE: Pancho warmed up to the three adults in his foster home quickly. He walks wonderfully on leash and enjoys hanging out in his crate or next to his foster mom on the couch. Pancho is working on getting along with his foster siblings, namely a 5 year old dachshund. He responds quickly to redirection and even though he has initiated a scuffle each day he does not seem intent on harming his foster siblings. He sleeps through the night in his crate and has not had any accidents indoors!
Pancho has found himself in Rescue with CTDR after being adopted from a shelter in Houston and then surrendered to a vet. The adopter had him for a few days and noticed he had a spot under his chin that was swollen and when the shelter was contacted, she was told to surrender back to the shelter or she could take him to her vet, which she did. The vet contacted CTDR and we immediately agreed to take in this little guy to see what is going on. He is fully vetted and once he is seen by the CTDR vets, he will be available to be adopted...
