Heartworm Prevention is given on the 24th of each month

UPDATE: 

Michou is an easy peasy laid back dog. He likes to be in the room where you are, he will happily follow you wherever you go. He is always up for a walk, and is happy to take long walks. He walks well on a leash and does not pull. When we are out on walks he is happy to say hello to people and is eager to say hello to other dogs large and small. He is fine with all sized dogs.

He doesn't love to ride in the car, sometimes he will cry. He prefers to ride with the window open. Overall he is really well behaved, he is not naughty at all. He likes to play/destroy squeaky toys.

 

 

Michou's progress is really amazing. He is a joy in his foster home. He is patient with his two puppy foster sisters under 2 years old. He will even try to play with them for a few minutes before a much needed old man nap. He loves to play with toys and seems happy to play alone or with others. Michou is completely non-reactive to cats, he's a dream with kids and matches the energy of other dogs. If you are a calm and assertive owner, Michou will feel safe and right at home. He will do better in a house with a stay at home presence, but could adjust to sleeping the days away while you are at work. 

He has been an absolute dream. He is potty trained, loves children, other dogs and is friendly to new people. He is non-reactive to cats. He loves to play/destroy toys and seems happy to play alone. He is learning to play with my pups, particularly Blanca who is very small and he is careful with her. He humps sometimes, but takes correction immediately. 

Michou ( pronounced Mee-Shoe)  has found himself in Rescue after his family was moving and not able to take him.  He has a little vetting to be done but then he is ready for his new home.  He does like to be with his humans and does not do well being left alone all day long.  If interested in this handsome boy, please complete an application at ctdr.org.
