UPDATE:

He has so much love to give. A lot of life force and energy. He has a lot of separation anxiety,  I get the sense that he was neglected and he is trying to make up for it now. He loves to play as I told you before, he loves a lot of toy stimulation and play. He sleeps great through the night. He does go potty frequently but I do not think he’s fully potty trained and I think his anxiety plays a part in his pottying in the house. I try to take him out every two hours except for at night when we are sleeping of course. He loves to sunbathe in the hot sun!  He loves to give kisses and be in your face and whoever adopts him needs to fully understand what Max needs. He needs someone who either works from home or is retired.  He loves to cuddle on laps and sleep in a donut shape on my lap and he sleeps in the bed with me. He needs all these things in his forever mom or dad/family. There are no exceptions! He gets way too upset when he’s left alone and that is something that could get better over time or it may never change. It’s just hard to tell. He needs to be the “it” dog.

Meet Max who is a new arrival to CTDR.  Max was surrendered to Rescue as his owner no longer had time for him.  Max is fully vetted and is ready to find his forever home.  He would prefer not to be around young children.  He also would love to be the only dog in the home.  If interested in adopting Max please complete an application at ctdr.org.
