UPDATE:

My name is Bolt.  I’m a handsome, young pup of 4 years.  I am looking for my furever home.  I am in a foster home now and it is pretty cool.  I have a foster brother that I can play with ALL DAY LONG.  I love to play!  We run and jump, we share toys (most of the time), we chase squirrels, and wrestle.  I really want a brother or sister that will play with me A LOT.  It is my favorite thing to do.  I have a lot of energy.  I have learned to sit.  I sit before I get my food and treats.  I am also learning “leave it”.  My foster mom says that to me when she doesn’t want to me chew on something.  I am still working on being house trained, I’m getting better but I won’t go outside in the rain.  #sorry, not sorry.  I have tried going on walks but it is too much for me right now.  I don’t always do well with new people or dogs.  I’m scared of men, new things and situations.  I can be won over by treats or food (wink, wink).  It takes me some time but I know with the right furever family, I will do great.  I do need someone who is very patient and will teach me so I have better manners and so I won’t be as scared of other people or dogs.  I know I can be the bestest boy if you give me a chance. I also love belly rubs, giving kisses and of course – butt scratches.  It’s the best!  Oh, yeah, I’m crate trained.  I don’t always go in voluntarily but once I am in, I sleep all night.  Oh yeah, when I go outside to go potty or play, please don’t leave me alone.  It scares me.  I want to be with you.  If you stay outside with me, I do my business and play with no problems. I’m not sure what else you want to know about me, but if you have a question, just asks.  I want a furever family more than anything, so please give me a chance.

Let's all welcome bolt to CTDR.  He was found as a stray walking the streets in Central Texas and was taken to the shelter.  When no one came for him or adopted him, CTDR was contacted and we made sure he left the shelter right away.  He has completed the vetting process and he is ready to find his forever home.  If interested in Bolt, please complete an application at www.ctdr.org.
