Heartworm Prevention is given on the 28th of each month

UPDATE:  Dixon is a little sweetheart. He loves to be with you, he is really easy going. He loves people, he wants to say hi to everyone. He really likes to be held, and likes to be carried around, but he also really likes to walk, he walks really well on a leash. He is sweet and playful. He is really spunky and full of personality. He does well with other dogs, he would play with my 7 month old foster, but also be clear when he was too rough. He eats wet food without issue, a regular wet pate' type food works well with his lack of teeth. He is totally housetrained and has not had a single accident since we had had him. He is a great companion.

 

Meet our sweet senior gentleman, Dixon, who is our newest arrival into Rescue.  Dixon was found as a stray and when the finder got him, he knew that Dixon needed medical attention.  Dixon is extremely thing weighing only 5.00 lbs.  He will need to be neutered and is in desperate need of a dental as his mouth is pretty rotten.  His medical will be done in stages and once all is completed he will be ready for his forever home.  Dixon sure needs a foster home so if you are interested in fostering this sweet boy, please complete an application at www.ctdr.org.
