Brownie recently arrived at CTDR in very rough shape after being found wandering the streets of Austin. When he was taken to a local shelter, staff discovered he was microchipped. Sadly, when his owners were contacted, they chose not to reclaim him.
This senior gentleman is underweight, has a heart murmur, and is suffering from severe dental disease. His mouth is extremely painful, and he is having difficulty eating. It is likely that Brownie will require a full mouth extraction to relieve his pain and give him the comfort he deserves.
CTDR will be setting up a fundraiser to help cover the cost of his much-needed dental care so Brownie can begin to heal and enjoy his golden years in comfort.
If you are interested in giving Brownie a loving home for the rest of his life, please complete an adoption application at
www.ctdr.org.
