Heartworm Prevention is given on the 10th of each month

Dutch is a young and healthy dog who is filling out at his foster parent’s home.  He will be a very handsome boy once he gets a little more weight. He adapted to the other dachshunds immediately without any conflict.  Like most dachshunds, he barks fiercely thru the fence at the large dog on the other side.  He seems to prefer the company of people to other dogs.  If he has a choice, he will be in your lap or at least touching you. Dutch knows how to sit up for treats but is still learning his name.  He has not been tried on a leash yet. He has barked at cats thru the fence but has not been exposed to them directly. He has not been around children but there’s no reason to believe that would present a problem for him.  He is not an aggressive or alpha type dog.
