Haley is a spritely, playful two year old girl. She loooooooves a brisk walk and romp at the dog park. She is very polite at home, sitting patiently outside the kitchen doorway to be invited into the room for snacks. But get her on a leash and harness outside or in a big yard to play, and she has never seen a squirrel, bird, cat, dog or person she didn't like. She could use a bit of training in leash walking and dog greeting etiquette because her exuberance is larger than her 13 pounds! She loves to run, and would make a great running companion for an active family. She is very tolerant of children, and would make a great family dog. She is very well potty trained indoors and even outdoors: even when her tummy was bothering her, she waited to go to the bathroom when we were outside for an hour sitting on a deck- she prefers a grass patch for her business! Haley makes the cutest little noises when she's happy and when she is sad. She kind of sounds like a dove or a cricket chirping! She's good at riding in the car, although her taller than average, nimble legs bounce her all over to look out every window. She is a jumper, so keeping her off furniture might be a challenging training trick. She seems very smart, quick, and eager to please so training with consistant behavior should not be a problem.  She is so playful. She is also a great lapdog, a real snuggle bug, and prefers sleeping on the couch or bed with you. She is past the crazy puppy stage, and seems to save her energy for her outdoor walks. Inside, she is a calm sleeper, very polite and well behaved. This girl is a bundle of fun and affection, bonds easily to humans, and will make any house feel like home.
