Howdy Everyone! I'm Toby but my Foster Mom calls me "Mr. Happy Boy"! I just LOVE LIFE and am Happy and just wag my tail continually and wiggle my entire body all over the place! I'm just Happy ALL the time! And if you pet me, or talk to me, or give me a treat, I go into HAPPY OVER-DRIVE! Where I make Happy noises, and wiggle and dance all over the room! I even Smile! Yep, I pull back my lips and show my teeth while I wiggle and make happy noises! I like to play a little fetch with a ball! You toss it and I will go get it! I am a snuggle bunny too! Being tucked in close with my peeps makes me real happy! I'm really into hugs! I even Hug back! I will sit in your lap, and put my front paws on both sides of your face and squeeze you tight! I'm not a big sloppy kisser, but if the time is right, I will sneak, a wet, juicy one in on ya! Do you like to talk? Me, TOO!! Just ask me how I'm doing, and I will tell you all about my day! It's okay if you don't understand "Toby Talk", you will soon learn! Now, I'm not a real big boy, so I will fit just perfect onto your lap. I'm only about 12-13 pounds and am the perfect weight! My coat is dark red and so soft, you will just love to pet me and I will let you do that for as long as you like! I'm a great companion! I will walk with you, wherever you go! I do great outside on my leash and  will follow you around the house but I don't stay under your feet, and trip you up.  I have some manners, and can "sit" and "stay".  I am doing really well on the house training thingy. I have had only 1 accident and I think it was because my foster Mom didn't understand my asking to go outside. I'm Okay hanging out in a crate if I have to, but would prefer to sleep in the big bed with you, snuggled down under the covers, all nice and toasty warm!  I like being around other doggies, but think I could eat some birds and cats for lunch if I could catch them! In the car, I am the perfect Gentleman! You tell me which seat is mine, and I will curl up and sleep, or sit, and watch you drive, but I stay in my seat. Now I'm not quite sure how I ended up in this thing called "rescue" but I am happy to be here! I'm not a picky fella, so I could adapt to just about any place. I could live in an apartment or in a house with a yard. I would do just fine with a family with kids, or with a married couple, or maybe a senior person who just needs a little friend. Other doggies in the house are ok too, I don't mind! When I first meet you, I can be a little timid, but give me a minute or two, and I am sure we will be great friends! I'm just a little, Happy boy, that wants to share my love with someone who will love me back. I don't take up much space but have a lot of personality and love to share.
