Dutchess is a gorgeous little girl with a big heart.  Her tail never seems to stop wagging and she is a bundle of affection and kisses.  She is fairly quiet and hardly ever barks, not even through the fence at a barking neighbor dog.  She loves to cuddle on the couch and sleep in bed with you.  She has been with us only a short time and  so far she hasn't shown too much interest in soft toys but has enjoyed some puzzle chews that you can hide treats in.  She is a smart girl and has learned how to use the doggy door and is doing well with potty training with that.  We often find her basking in the sun on the back porch or exploring the back yard.  She has an unknown past and we don't think she has ever been given direction with basic commands as she doesn't know things like sit or stay (yet) but is learning to come when called in from outside and which furniture she is allowed to get up on.  She is good with kids and other dogs.  Has not chewed on things that were not hers. We have not exposed her to cats. She will be great as an only dog or with others as long as she has a loving lap to curl up in.  She has never shown any bit of aggression in any manner.  She is all sweetness and love.
