Sadey is a dapple white longhair Dachshund mix with soulful amber eyes that seem to look into your soul.  She was abandoned pregnant on a rural road in November, this past year.  She wandered to a nearby farm and the family took her in unaware that she was pregnant.  She was really thin so they proceeded to fatten her up and were thrilled when she appeared to be gaining weight.  They were stunned when they woke up on January 2nd and found her nursing five puppies!  She was a great mommy and good homes were found for her babies.In spite of the ordeal she has endured, e.g., being abandoned and losing her babies, Sadey has bounced back with the strength and determination of her Dachshund side.  After her initial period of confusion in yet another home, she has settled in and her true character is shining through.  She likes exploring outside, her nose to the ground, or running full speed playing with her friends, dogs or cats.  She seems to prefer female over male playmates.  She also has a quiet side that enjoys cuddling, napping on her bed or your lap.   Sadey is good with children, infant and toddler; absolutely loves car rides and is well behaved.  This gentle soul little girl deserves a ‘forever’ home that will love, provide, and show her that she is not disposable.
