UPDATE: Brownie is an absolute delight! He has the sweetest, most loving personality! Brownie came to us with teeth so bad, they all had to be removed. Don’t let this fool you, it doesn’t slow him down at all! His little tongue hangs out, and I must admit, it’s the cutest thing! He is potty trained, and also quickly learned how to use the doggy door. He really enjoys playing with other dogs in the house. Since we are still working from home, he has not really experienced being in a crate during the day so he does get quite attached, and will follow you everywhere! He’s not used to being left home alone, so he does get a little separation anxiety and will bark a bit. He would do best in a home where he’s not home alone for long periods. He is doing quite well at night in the crate, but would love to sleep in bed with his new family. Brownie also requests a home that has another doggy playmate!
Brownie is a new arrival to CTDR after being turned in to the shelter by his owner because he was ill. After being seen by a vet, it was determined he mouth was in very bad shape and he would need an extensive dental. He is fully vetted and will be getting a dental very soon with CTDR and then will be ready for his forever home.
